Description
A wonderful low chest adapted from a Katana Tansu original from the late 17th century. A katana is a Japanese samurai sword and a tansu is a storage chest for the long saber styled swords. Our modernized design has authentic corner brackets called herikanagu and a rectangular oak top over two ample drawers mounted with sturdy brass bar pulls over a metal base with tapered corner posts.
